What the research found

(Green chiretta) is an annual herbaceous plant in the family Acanthaceae native to India and Sri Lanka. It is widely known by the nickname "King of Bitters" because every part of the plant has an intensely bitter flavor. Significantly alleviated respiratory symptoms, including cough (SMD -0.39) and sore throat (SMD -1.13), across 33 randomized controlled trials encompassing 7,175 patients with acute respiratory tract infections
