What the research found

In several randomized controlled trials, topical indigo naturalis significantly outperformed placebos, with up to 80% of patients achieving clear or near-clear skin on target lesions. Unlike standard long-term topical corticosteroids, indigo naturalis does not cause skin thinning (atrophy), permanent stretch marks (striae), or rebound flare-ups upon stopping the treatment.
